Ms. Weili Lin

Ms. Weili Lin

Director

Ms Weili Lin was born in Taiwan. She started playing piano at the age of 3, and picked up classical percussion when she was accepted in a music specialized school in third grade. Having a strong classical music background, Ms Weili earned a scholarship studying in the pre-college division of Manhattan School of Music in NYC at the age of 13. She has her BA in Music from Manhattan School of Music & Early Childhood Education from Theoria Technical College. After graduation, Ms Weili has been involved in education for over 20 years. As a mother of two teenagers, she is most passionate about making a difference in children’s lives, whether it’s through teaching or simply guiding them through difficult times in life. Besides being an educator, Ms Weili has worked as an administrator for many years, in both Taiwan and the U.S., as well as running her own academy for six years. She was an assistant head of school for a Montessori program, director for a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool as well as the founding director for a trilingual immersion ECE program in Costa Mesa.

Hello, I’m Ms. Alisa! This year, I’ll be the English teacher for all the classrooms. This will be my 3rd year at Seaside. I graduated from CSULB with a Bachelor’s in Child Development. With my experience, IOutside of school, I love running, spending time with my loved ones (esp. my dog Evie), and exploring neighboring cities. I also love to bake and cook. My favorite colors are neutrals, coral, and purple!

Hello, I’m Ms. Julianna! I was previously the teacher for the Teal room. As I’m finishing up my last year of schooling, I’ll be the after school lead teacher for the Green room. I’m currently finishing my associate degree in Early Childhood Education at Orange Coast College. It’s important to me to help preschoolers grow through interactive and engaging activities that spark their curiosity and creativity. I’m looking forward to supporting your little ones as they learn and thrive!

¡Hola! My name is Sra. Burket, and I spent 18 years of my life working with preschool children. I was born and raised in Lima, Perú where I received my Professional degree in Special Education.

This will be my 12th year as a Spanish teacher at this program and I am very excited. I am very happy for being part of your children’s lives as they go through their early learning period. I love spending time with my daughters, visiting relatives and friends in Perú and Florida! In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach, listening to Latin music, and dancing Zumba!

I’m so excited to welcome you and your children to a brand-new school year! My name is Mrs. Yuri, and I am the Spanish and Lead Teacher in the Green Room. I majored in Liberal Studies with a Minor in Human Development from CSUDH. I am truly thrilled to meet all my new little friends and begin a year full of learning, discovery, and growth.

A little about me: This will be my 14th year in education and my 8th year as a toddler preschool teacher. Teaching is my passion, and I find so much joy in watching young children grow, learn, and reach important milestones.

Outside the classroom, I’m a proud wife and a mama to four amazing children. My family inspires me every day, and I bring that same love and dedication into my teaching. I can’t wait to get to know each of your children and work together with you to make this a fun, nurturing, and memorable year!

Hi! My name is Mrs. Jennifer and I’m so excited to be the Spanish/Lead teacher for the Blue Classroom! I’m currently in college, majoring in Child Development, and I have a deep passion for helping children learn and grow. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and our Doberman dog, Nitro. I also enjoy cooking, baking, and going to the gym. My favorite color is pink!

Chinese Teacher (3 yr old class)

Hello, I’m Ms. Lu! I recently moved to OC from Beijing China, where I spent many years working at a Fortune 500 company and also taught Mandarin to adults. I hold two bachelor’s degrees-one in Japanese, and the other in Law. I’ve been trained to teach Chinese as a foreign language, and I hold a national teaching certificate. My Mandarin is very standard-I have a Level 1-B on China’s official pronunciation test. I’m so excited to join the classroom and share the joy of Mandarin through songs, games, and fun cultural activities!

With a background in education and IT, I bring skills in community engagement, safety compliance, and effective communication tailored to children. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, I’m a quick learner who thrives in collaborative settings. My certifications, including CCNA, CCNP, and MCITP, reflect my technical expertise. Known for patience and active listening, I’m dedicated to fostering children’s growth and success with care and enthusiasm.
